Warm pools (Auto Scaling Groups)
A warm pool keeps pre-initialized EC2 instances ready so your ASG can attach them instantly when scaling up.
"I need new servers to handle traffic fast — but provisioning from scratch takes too long."
A warm pool is a set of pre-launched, partially-initialized instances that are stopped or running and not yet in the ASG lifecycle, so scale-up latency is reduced by attaching them instead of launching new instances.
