VPC Peering
A private, one-to-one network link between two VPCs that lets resources in each subnet talk to each other using private IPs.
"I need two VPCs to talk privately without routing traffic over the internet or a VPN."
VPC Peering connects two VPCs so their route tables can send traffic directly to each other's IP ranges; it does not traverse gateways, NAT, or the public internet. Peering is one-to-one and does not automatically share routes beyond the two VPCs.
