Calculated Field
A Calculated Field is a new PivotTable field you create by writing a formula that uses other PivotTable fields.
"I need a new column like Profit Margin without changing the source data."
A Calculated Field defines a formula at the PivotTable level using existing field names (e.g., Revenue, Cost) so the PivotTable shows the result alongside other aggregated values. It operates inside the Pivot aggregation engine rather than creating per-row results in the source table.
