Reasonable notice and final pay timing
When employment ends, employers must give final pay and may owe notice or pay in lieu depending on timing and local rules.
"I need to know when a departing employee must be paid and whether they or we are owed a notice period."
Reasonable notice is the time an employer or employee must provide before termination (or compensation instead), and final pay timing is when the employer must deliver the departing employee's last wages and owed entitlements. Local laws set maximum delays and what must be included.
