A metric that sums all hiring costs and divides them by filled positions to show the true average cost to hire someone.

Cost-per-Hire is the total of all direct and indirect hiring expenses over a period divided by the number of hires in that period. It captures advertising, agency fees, recruiter time, assessment costs, onboarding expenses and other recruitment-related spend per filled role.
