Wildcard operators
A wildcard is a special character (like *) you add to a search term to match different word endings or partial words at once.
"I want to find every variation of a job title or skill without typing each one out."
Wildcards let you replace part of a word with a symbol so the search engine returns results for multiple word forms or spellings in one query. They work only where the search system supports them and follow that system’s rules for placement and permitted characters.
