Proximity operators
A search technique that finds documents where two or more terms appear within a specified number of words of each other.
"I need resumes that mention 'product' and 'manager' next to each other — not scattered across the page."
Proximity operators let you require that keywords occur within N words of each other (e.g., "product NEAR/3 manager"), improving relevance by capturing phrase-like relationships without forcing exact order or punctuation.
