Grouping with parentheses
Using parentheses to force parts of a Boolean search to be evaluated together so you get the results you actually intend.
"When I combine OR and AND and I get tons of irrelevant profiles, it's because the search is being grouped the wrong way."
Parentheses change the default order Boolean operators are applied so you can control which terms are combined before others; treat each parenthesized group like a mini-search unit.
