Conditional offers
A conditional offer is a job offer that only becomes final if the candidate meets specified requirements like background checks, drug tests, or proof of work eligibility.
"I want to hire someone now but make sure nothing disqualifies them before they start."
A conditional offer states the job, start date, pay, and that employment depends on defined checks or documents; once conditions are satisfied the offer converts to an unconditional employment agreement.
