Agents
An AI teammate for every job.
An agent has a name, a job and its own tools. You hire one per role, then talk to it in its own chat and watch it work beside you.
A goal
What it is for, in your words: “Find and screen candidates for our open roles.”
The right tools
Only the tools that fit the job are loaded, which keeps it fast and cheap.
A memory
It remembers what you tell it, like “our brand colour is teal”, and uses it next time.
What an agent has
One teammate, six parts.
Think of hiring a person for one role: a Recruiter, a Writer, a Social media manager, a Bookkeeper or a Builder.
What it is for
Written in your words.
The right set
Web, files, PDF editing, connected apps.
Remembers you
Facts you tell it are used next time.
Screens for its job
They open beside the chat.
As many as you like
Listed under the agent in the sidebar.
Works by itself
Scheduled jobs it does without being asked.
Compare
Why not a normal AI chat?
| Normal AI chat | Loomrail agent |
|---|---|
| Gives instructions | Does the task and hands you a file, an app or an updated sheet. |
| Forgets your context | Has a goal and memory: your business, style and rules. |
| One helper for everything | One specialist per job, with tools and panes made for it. |
| Can’t touch your apps | Works in Gmail, Drive, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion and more, once connected. |
| Works only while you type | Runs on a schedule and passes work to other agents. |
| Risky if it acts alone | Shows a preview and waits for your yes. |
Specialists
Ready-made agents for common jobs.
You can also create any other agent you need, such as a Social media manager, Researcher or Accountant.
Builder
Builds apps and websites from a description. Plans first if you want, runs checks, imports a GitHub repo.
Recruiter
Reads resumes, scores each against the must-haves with quotes, shortlists, writes outreach.
Examiner
Makes coding tests and quizzes, runs contests, grades attempts and reports results.
Interviewer
Runs live interviews on a shared pad.
Teacher
Writes full courses and learning paths.
Project manager
Plans work, creates tasks and milestones, tracks progress.
Get started
Create an agent in four steps.
- 1
Click New, then New agent
In the sidebar, or the + on a phone.
- 2
Describe the job
One line, like “Writes and schedules our LinkedIn posts”. Loomrail suggests a name, a goal and the tools.
- 3
Check and save
Name, goal, tools and panes. Everything else is under More settings.
- 4
Start chatting
Give it its first job in plain words.
Working with agents
Talk to your agents.
From Home
Home is your general assistant. If a job belongs to one of your agents, it passes the job on and the agent starts working.
With @mentions
Write @AgentName in Home or a room to talk to an agent directly, or to bring a second agent in.
Made in this chat
The button in the chat header lists every file and design the agent made.
Tips
Use an agent well.
Say the outcome, not the steps
“Shortlist the 10 best candidates for the React role and draft an email to each.”
Attach what it needs
Resumes, a PDF to edit, a spreadsheet to clean, a brand guide.
Tell it to remember
“Remember: we never offer discounts above 15%.”
Approve what goes out
Emails, posts and messages appear as a preview with Approve or Don’t.
Anything that goes out, such as an email or a post, shows you a preview first and waits for your approval. How approvals work.
Questions
Common questions.
What is the difference between Home and an agent?
Home is your general assistant for anything. An agent is a specialist with its own job, memory, panes and routines.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe what you want in plain words. Builder writes the code when you want an app.
Use cases
See it on a real job.
