Pushing to remote (git push)
Sending your local branch commits to a remote repository so others (or CI) can see and use them.
"I made some commits locally — how do I put them on GitHub so my teammate can review them?"
git push uploads commits from a local branch to a matching branch on a remote and can set an upstream so future pushes/pulls default to that remote branch.
