Adding a remote (git remote add)
A remote is a name pointing to another repository URL so you can fetch from or push to multiple repositories.
"I want to keep my fork in sync with the original project and push my changes to my fork."
Adding a remote registers a shortcut name (like origin or upstream) for a repository URL so git can fetch/push under that name instead of a full URL each time.
