A short sentence describing a feature from an end-user's perspective, stating who it’s for, what they want, and why.
"I need to explain what my users can do and why, so the team builds the right thing."
A user story is a concise, plain-language statement: who the user is, what they need, and why it matters, often written as "As a <role>, I want <goal> so that <benefit>."
