A feature branch is a separate Git branch where you build one feature or fix so work stays isolated until it's ready to merge.

A feature branch isolates changes for a single feature or task in its own branch so developers can work in parallel and merge when ready. It keeps main (or trunk) stable and makes reviews and rollbacks easier.
