Strangler pattern for migration
A way to incrementally replace parts of a running app by routing traffic from the old code to new code until the old is gone.
"I want to move to TypeScript without rewriting the whole app and breaking production."
The Strangler Fig pattern replaces an application's pieces gradually by introducing new implementations beside the old and routing requests to them until the legacy code can be removed. It reduces risk by making small, reversible changes and letting you migrate one endpoint, module, or component at a time.
