Parallel vs Sequential Tasks
Deciding which steps can run at the same time (parallel) and which must wait for previous steps to finish (sequential).
"I can upload thumbnails while other images are still uploading, but I must create the gallery record before attaching images to it."
Some tasks can be started and awaited together (parallel) to save time; other tasks depend on results of earlier steps and must run in sequence (sequential).
